A rich platform dedicated to contemporary photography. The new edition of fotofever is starting. It is a double event that will involve two European capitals: Brussels and Paris. The first appointment is in the Belgian capital, at Tour & Taxis, from October 4th to 6th 2013, bringing the spotlight on young talents from all over the world. Once again, the event is a meeting dedicated to collectors, art lovers, artists, editors and to those who are keen on camera (no matters if it’s an analogue or a digital one).
Realized by Cécile Shall, granddaughter of the photographer Roger Schall, the 2013 edition of fotofever is made possible thanks to the collaboration of FoMu Antwerp, the photographic museum of Charleroi and Bozar in Brussels.
More than 100 galleries will exhibit over 300 artists, among which there will be the Belgian Saartje Van De Steene, who won Fotoprize 2013, the contest that allows a young talent to exhibit during the two fotofever shows.
Another interesting prize is Collection privée, because it rewards the private collection never seen before by the general public and based on a specific theme. This year, the French collector Alexandre Dupouy will present his pieces through an exhibition dedicated to “the Bum”.
The program also includes several meetings and talks and, hear ye, DROME magazine will be present with an individual booth. Come and see us!
