ArtVerona. Modern and Contemporary Art Fair
The fourth ArtVerona Fair is characterised by an intriguing series of events, performances and encounters for art lovers and art buyers alike. With numbers limited to 170 exhibitors, the Modern and Contemporary Art Fair builds on the successes of previous years with some major initiatives including Slam - large format installations; D’Est - young Slovenian artists; PhotoArtVerona - Abstract Forms from the Collection of the Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea; SoundArtVerona - Staffan Mossenmark in performance, and Walls Have Ears by Steve Piccolo; VideoArtVerona - the Video Art Yearbook 2008; the ArtVerona Aletti Awards - dedicated to artists under the age of 35; Icona 2008 - a symbol of the Fair’s Art; Forum 08 - the evolution of the modern and contemporary art market; 045 Open Space - site-specific installations by Anna Galtarossa, Andrea Galvani and Luca Trevisani at the Museum of Castelvecchio, Verona.
