VIVID COLOURS Vs. SPECTRAL GREYS

Between painting and installations, the exhibitions in the spaces of La Place Forte - new Parisian gallery in the third Arrondissement -, is dedicated to the theme of death. From the idea of its director Vincent Elka, MORT FACE PRIX consists of two sessions and involves, respectively, Michael Barek & ZenTwo and Fred Calmets & Marchal Shaka (+ Cyril Gaultier ). Bright colours for Michael Barek and monochromic spirits for  ZenTwo. Fred Calmets proposes perturbing and majestic vanities, whereas the subjects by Marchal Shaka are odd and changing. Last but not least, Cyril Gaultier reflects on the mortal crisis or on crisis of the death.
Very recommended.
