Everything is ready for the XI edition of LPMLive Performers Meeting, which this year finds its new headquarters at Planet Alpheus and Teatro Valle Occupato in Rome, where will take place the usual meeting of an increasing community of audiovisual artists, VJs and new media professionals that, from 31 May to 3 June, 2012, will abandon the virtual banquet for four days of live performances, VJing, workshops and showcases with an international flavor.
The initiative, which has the mission of promoting the free flow of ideas and works (since its first edition with a peculiar focus on open source projects), offers a rich calendar of events and programs that range across disciplines: Live Cinema, for example, is the section with an experimental and narrative approach that presents performance projects specifically conceived for LPM, or Video Mapping, which puts the light on the technical innovations of video-projection, capable of animating the volumes of the architecture. And then the sections Digital Freedoms, Visual Gender, Generative Visual and 3D-Stereoscopic: stereoscopy which allows three-dimensional view of the video content for truly immersive perceptual. It must be said that all proceeds recovered by LPM will support the research in terms of technological innovation, especially in the context of visual lives. What more do you want? See you there!
